ITALIAN APPLE CAKE

– 3 large apples, peeled and sliced – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 2 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 cup milk – Powdered sugar for dusting

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, beat the melted butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk until a smooth batter forms.
